Currently living in Los Angeles, California Katy graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Theatre and a Public Relations minor. She interned in the Marketing Department as the first Photography Intern for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, one of the largest regional theatres of its kind, assisting the Head Photographer. At Western, she served as a board member for Student Theatre Productions as the Publicity Manager and worked at the Student Technology Center as an instructor for software program workshops, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Final Cut ProX. Katy has worked with a range of clients freelancing her videography and photography skills. Clients include, The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Sound Publishing, The Ferndale Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Innovative Resource Center, The Richland Players and many others. Her photography portfolio includes body positive photo projects showcased by Middle Women, and portraits, including head shots, families, couples, etc. Through her skills as a journalist, photographer, techie, designer and all around communicator, Katy will bring all she has to offer to any project that is placed in front of her.
